How to request deletion
- Sign in, open Settings → Privacy & Data → Delete account, review the impact, type DELETE and confirm.
- If you cannot sign in, email support@example.com from the account address. We will verify identity before acting.
- Export anything you want to keep first. Disconnecting a mail provider alone does not delete the Latchra account.
What deletion covers
- Profile, preferences, connected-source credentials, notification endpoints and personal workspace content.
- Normalized obligations, source excerpts, notes and account-scoped activity not required for a lawful retention purpose.
- Queued processing artifacts and active exports. Stored provider credentials are removed; you should also revoke Latchra in the provider's account-security page.
- De-identified aggregate metrics may remain only when they can no longer be linked back to you.
Teams and subscriptions
Before deleting the sole owner of a team workspace, transfer ownership or delete the workspace. Content legitimately shared to a team may remain under the team's control while your profile is removed or de-identified.
Cancel app-store subscriptions in the store and team subscriptions in Billing. Account deletion does not override a store's subscription controls, but we will stop our own future billing instructions where applicable.
Timing and limited retention
A displayed grace period lets you reverse an accidental request. After it ends, active-system deletion is targeted within 30 days and a confirmation is sent. Encrypted backups expire on their rotation schedule.
We may retain narrowly scoped billing records for up to 10 years and security evidence for about 90 days where needed for legal obligations, fraud prevention or claims. Retained records are isolated from normal product use.
